Membership

Hong Kong Squadron has 4 levels of Membership:-

1. NAVY - (FULL SPORTING) - Aimed at those who wish to compete
2. CADET - (JUNIOR) - As for a sporting membership with junior rates (under 18's)
3. ARMY - (OVERSEAS MEMBERS) - Those who are not always in Hong Kong but do visit and enjoy the club
4. RAF - (ASSOCIATE MEMBERS) - For those who wish to benefit predominantly from the social activities and network

NAVY Membership - HK$1,200.00 per annum (August - July)
CADET / ARMY/ RAF Membership - HK$ 300 per annum (August - July)

RAF Membership - Benefits include:-

- Overseas football tours.

- Five a side football. Currently using the indoor pitch at South Island School, "Squadron HEAT" compete in the Relocasia Indoor League weekday evenings. for 5-a-sides football games.

- Technique and Tactical Football Coaching Sessions at KGV School Ho Man Tim, Kowloon 7.15 - 9.00pm every Tuesday with Gavin McDermott, our UEFA "B" qualified coach. This is a technical session aimed at serious minded footballers who wish to play in either of the Yau Yee League teams.

- Discounted airfares and hotel rates generally available to support touring teams when they play in international tournaments outside of HK. Currently the tour itinerary includes Bangkok - Thailand, Shanghai and Shekou - China and Manila - Philippines with possibly Phuket - Thailand or Phnom Phen - Cambodia included (dependant on the tournament dates).

- Discounted food and drinks at the club sponsored venues. These are currently Amici, Mes Amis and Heat (Wanchai and Tsim Tsa Tsui).

- Social Activities including the Annual Awards Presentation Junk Trip, "The" Xmas Party, Yau Yee Football League Presentation Dinner and many other social activities that arise during the course of the season such as racing, quiz and comedy nights, beach football competitions, team sauna,

Those members who wish to participate in the Club competitions are required to have a
NAVY / CADET / ARMYmembership. Benefits include:

- playing costs including registration, administration and rehydration for Yau Yee Football League, HK Legal League, Relocasia 5-a-side league.
- playing kit (not specialist items like boots, gloves, strapping).
- transport to and from games where distant travel is required. A team bus is provided from Central and Kowloon to matches in the New Territories.
- promotional food and drinks at our sponsors' venues after games.
- full range of RAF level membership
